8BUZZER TESTING
Using jumper wires, connect battery positive post to buzzer positive tabConnect battery negative post to buzzer negative tabSee next photoCAUTION: To avoid buzzer damage, ensure that polarity is respected
LIGHTING GENERATOR COIL VOLTAGE TESTING
NOTE: For 290 system, the lighting generator coil is not part of the ignition systemIt is selfcontained system used to supply current to the lighting system and to other devices working on alternating currentHowever, this system can be tested using multimeter1Disconnect round housing from engine (YELLOW, YELLOW wires)2Connect multimeter probes to YELLOW wires,then place selector switch to and scale to 0.00Vac3Activate the manual starter and check values indicated by the multimeter4Repeat operation times
