ACTIVATION OF NEW BATTERY
WARNING
Never charge or boost battery while installed on vehicleRemove the aluminum sealing tape from the batteryRemove the electrolyte container from the plastic bag and detach the strip of capsKeep the strip for battery plugs

Connect the positive lead to the batterys positive terminal, and the negative lead to the negative terminalSTATE OF CHARGE 100 75100 5075 255025 VOLTAGE READING 12.813.0 12.512.8 12.012.5 11.512.0 11.5 or less
Load Test
This is the best test of battery condition under starting loadUse load testing device that has an adjustable loadApply load of times the ampere-hour rating of the batteryAt 14 seconds into the test, check battery voltage; if battery is in good condition, it will have at least 10.5 Vdc1
