BATTERY
GENERAL
Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery (YTX20L-BS, PN 515 175 759) is used for the SKI-DOO snowmobilesAGM battery is sealed, non-spillable and maintenance freeCLEANING
Clean the battery, battery casing, cables and battery posts using solution of baking soda and waterRemove corrosion from battery cable terminals and battery posts using firm wire brushBattery top should be cleaned by soft brush and any grease-cutting soap or baking soda solution
REMOVAL
All Models
WARNING
Battery BLACK negative cable must always be disconnected first and connected last
INSPECTION
Visually inspect battery casing for cracks, leaks or other possible damageDiscoloration, warping or raised top, indicates that battery has overheated or been overchargedIf casting is damaged, replace battery and thoroughly clean battery tray and close area with water and baking soda
