The term "engine" refers to the engine metal parts connected to the magneto housing
NOTE: Stop switches include the ignition switch and the emergency cut-out switchIt is important to take note that voltage measurements must be taken while starting the vehicle using the manual starterVoltages obtained upon starting are proportional to the force applied onto the manual starterA low voltage is therefore normal under low cranking forcePerform testing in the prescribed order and replace any parts not performing according to specificationsIt is important to resume all test when replacing componentIt not specified, the probe connecting sequence is not important
