Tether Cord Switch
Unplug switch block connected to main wiring harnessCheck using multimeter by connecting probes to 6-BC-B-M and 6-BC-A-M wiresThe multimeter should indicate an open circuit (0.L M) in operating position and closed circuit (0in off position
1Disconnect the 3-wire housing between the ignition module and the magneto wiring harness (4-DB)2Connect multimeter probes to RED and BLACKwires (female end), then bring selector to and VACscale to 00.0 3Activate the manual starter and check values indicated by the multimeter4Repeat operation times5Compare readings with those appearing in the IGNITION table
5TRIGGER COIL VOLTAGE TESTING
1Disconnect 4-wire housing (4-DA) and 2-wire housing (4-DC) between the ignition module and the engine2Connect multimeter probes to BLUEYELLOW wire and to WHITEYELLOW wire, then bringselector switch to and scale to 00.0VAC3Activate the manual starter and check values indicated by the multimeter4Repeat operation times5Compare readings with those appearing in the IGNITION table
