Section 05 TRANSMISSION Subsection 07 (CHAINCASE)
REMOVAL
Chaincase and driven pulley can be removed from the vehicle as an assemblyRemove guard and drive beltUnlock and raise driven pulley support
Remove chaincase cover no20 and drain oilRemove right side drive axle bearing coverRemove circlip no17Move drive axle and track together to the right side as far as possibleUnscrew the nut no14 on the upper sprocket no12Remove chain tensioner assembly nos2 to 6, then simultaneously remove chain no18 and both sprocketsRemove the cap screws no26 securing chaincase to frameSave alignment shims no8 for installation
Chaincase and Driven Pulley Assembly
Using large prybars inserted between chaincase and frame, pry complete assembly from vehicle
