REMOVAL
Brake Disc Removal
Tundra The split caliper type brake should be removed from chaincase as an assemblyProceed as follows: Remove guard Disconnect brake cable Remove bolts no8 securing brake support to chaincase Slide brake caliper ass'y out of brake support To remove brake disc, driven pulley has to be removed firstRefer to DRIVEN PULLEYSkandic WTSWTWT LC Remove caliper by unscrewing M10 Allen screws Unbolt discSkandic LT Remove caliper Remove guard, belt and driven pulley Remove air silencer Unbolt bearing support no19 from chassis Open chaincase and remove upper sprocket Pull countershaft assembly toward driven pulley side to gain access to clip no25 Remove clip no25 on countershaft
DISASSEMBLY
All Models with Mechanical Brake Pull pin no16 out of caliper and remove lever no15Fixed pad is riveted to chaincase on these modelsCaliper must be split to remove moving padTo removed fixed pad, drill out its rivet no2 then pry disc in order to free fixed padAll Models with Hydraulic Brake Only brake pads are available as spare partsIf caliper or master cylinder are damaged, replace each of them as an assembly
