NOTE: Engine must be removed from chassis to perform the following procedures
CLEANING
Discard all oil seals and gasketsClean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleaner
DISASSEMBLY
General
To remove clutch, refer to CLUTCH 05-02To remove magneto, refer to TRANSISTORIZED MAGNETO IGNITION 04-06
Push on connecting rod no4 and pull out piston no5Remove both piston pin circlips no6 and push out piston pin no7Detach piston from connecting rodRemove crankshaft no8 and camshaft assy no9Mark both valve lifters and remove themThis will ensure that lifters will not be inverse at reassembly
