Needle Valve Type Shock Remove screw on top of valveInsert needle type shock tool (PN 529 035 614) very slowly into rubber of needle valvePush on shock tool valve center rod to release gas pressure
With the seal carrier removed, slowly lift and remove damper rod assembly from the damper bodyNOTE: Remove damper rod assembly slowly to reduce oil spillage and prevent piston seal damage by damper body threadsWrap the damper body with shop cloth to capture possible overflow oil while removing the damper piston
