INSPECTION OF AC CIRCUIT ISOLATION
All Electric Start Models If AC circuit is not isolated from frame, headlamp beam will weaken
Current Measurement
HIGH INTENSITY LOW INTENSITY BROWN wire BROWN YELLOW wire 0.23 minimum 0.13 minimum
INSPECTION
Disconnect regulatorrectifierConnect one digital ohmmeter probe (needle ohmmeter will not offer enough precision) to frame and other probe to one of YELLOW magneto wiresMeasured resistance must be infiniteIf such is not the case, it means there is connection between AC circuit and DC circuitDisconnect one accessory at the time to identify the faulty circuit
