GENERAL
Some drive pulley components (return spring, ramp) can be changed to improve vehicle performance in high altitude regionsA Service Bulletin will give information about calibration according to altitudeCAUTION: Such modifications should only be performed by experienced mechanics since they can greatly affect vehicle performanceVerify spring specifications before installationDo not only refer to the spring color codeNOTE: TRA drive pulley stands for Total Range Adjustable drive pulley
WARNING
Never use any type of impact wrench at drive pulley removal and installationRemove retaining screwTo remove drive pulley ass'y andor fixed half from engine, use puller (PN 529 022 400)CAUTION: These pulleys have metric threadsDo not use imperial threads pullerAlways tighten puller by hand to ensure that the drive pulley has the same type of threads (metric vs imperial) prior to fully tighteningTo Remove Drive Pulley Ass'y: Retain drive pulley with clutch holderInstall puller in pulley shaft then tighten
