IDLE SPEED FINAL ADJUSTMENT
7, Idle Speed Screw
CAUTION: Before starting engine for the final idle adjustment, make sure that oil pump is adjustedThe oil injection pump adjustment must be checked each time carburetor is adjustedRefer to OIL INJECTION SYSTEMStart engine and allow it to warm then adjust idle speed to specifications by turning idle speed screw clockwise to increase engine speed or counterclockwise to decrease itNOTE: On twin-carburetor models: Turn adjustment screw the same amount to keep carburetors synchronizedRefer to TECHNICAL DATA for the specificationsCAUTION: Do not attempt to set the idle speed by using the air screwSevere engine damage can occur
