Section 04 ENGINE Subsection 09 (REWIND STARTER)
To adjust rope tension: Wind rope on sheave and place rope sheave into starter housing making sure that the sheave hub notch engages in the rewind spring hookRotate the sheave counterclockwise until rope end is accessible through rope exit holeThis will give 12 turn of preloadPull the rope out of the starter housing and temporarily make knot to hold it
Lubricate pawl lock no9 with Molykote PG 54 (PN 420 899 763)Install over pawl
