With handlebar in straight-ahead position, the center of the pivot arm must be in line with the end of the boltLoosen the jam nuts on tie rod no14 (LH threads on steering column end) and turn tie rod accordinglyAlign and retighten the jam nuts to 18 Nm (159 lbfin)A 1

Never lengthen tie rod making threaded portion of ball joint exceed 20 mm (2532 in)
