BATTERY
REMOVAL
All Models
All Models Remove air intake silencerUnfasten battery retaining stripsOpen stripsRemove vent tubeWithdraw battery from vehicle being careful not lean it so that electrolyte flows out of vent tube
WARNING
Battery BLACK negative cable must always be disconnected first and connected last
WARNING
CAUTION
Never charge or boost battery while installed on vehicle
Air Intake Silencer Removal
Grand Touring 700SE Only Unplug air temperature sensor connector from air intake silencer and remove MPEM, as shown in the next photo
Should any electrolyte spillage occur, immediately wash off with solution of baking soda and water to prevent damage to vehicle components
