Changing Timing
Timing can only be changed using the programmer (PN 529 035 589)Start engineTurn on programmer then enter passwordIncrease engine speed to 2500 RPMFrom main menu select no3INFO VEHICLE

The timing mark must be aligned with both marks on side memberIf not, note if timing is retarded or advancedTolerance is 1

Engine will misfire during vehicle information is transferred from MPEM to programmerIf engine stalls, restart it, keep engine speed at 2500 RPM and select no3 VEHICLE INFO again
