REMOVAL
BRAKE DISC REMOVAL Brake disc can be withdraw without removing caliperProceed as follows: Remove belt guard, belt and driven pulley Remove air silencer Unbolt bearing support no4 from chassis Unbolt caliper from chaincase Open chaincase and remove upper sprocket Pull countershaft no3 toward driven pulley side to free from chaincase and disc Remove discCOUNTERSHAFT REMOVAL No tools to remove countershaft bearing were available at time of printingA service bulletin is to be published to cover this topicA15D03A
TYPICAL 1Fixed pad 2Inner caliper A1 mm (132 in) minimum

DISASSEMBLY
Only brake pads are available as spare partsIf caliper or master cylinder are damaged, replace each of them as an assembly
