Section 05 TRANSMISSION Subsection 04 (DRIVEN PULLEY)
REMOVAL
Remove guard and drive belt from vehicleRemove cap screw no13, washer no12 and shouldered washer no11 then pull the driven pulley from the countershaftNote shouldered washer position for reinstallationTake care not to loose spacer no21 2

Remove snap ring no3 and washer no4 to disassemble the cam and the pulley halvesCLEANING

WARNING

Driven pulley cam is spring loaded, use abovementioned tool
9,10, Large Bushing and Small Bushing
During break-in period (about 10 hours of use), teflon from bushing moves to cam or shaft surfaceA teflon over teflon running condition occurs, leading to low frictionSo it is normal to see gray teflon deposit on cam or shaftDo not remove that deposit, it is not dustWhen dust deposit has to be removed from the cam or the shaft, use dry cloth to avoid removing transferred teflon
