Section 06 ELECTRICAL Subsection 06 (TESTING PROCEDURE)
3IGNITION SWITCH, TETHER CORD SWITCH AND EMERGENCY SWITCH TESTING
Disconnect connector housing 2-01 from engine, and using multimeter, check resistance as indicated in IGNITION table
If readings do not correspond to the above-mentioned indications, replace switchIf readings are acceptable, check other switches
Emergency Switch
Unplug switch block connected to main wiring harnessCheck using multimeterConnect probes to 6-02-C-M and 6-02-D-M terminalsThe multimeter should indicate an open circuit (0.L M) in operating position and closed circuit (0in off position

If readings are acceptable, go on to next stepIf readings are inadequate, individually check each switch as follows
