IDLE SPEED FINAL ADJUSTMENT
7, Idle Speed Screw
CAUTION

Use small diameter of tool for VM 34 carburetorsInsert choke plunger tool into choke air inlet of each carburetorTool stopper may not lean against recess wallThough it must be within mm (.040 in) of recess wall
Before starting engine for the final idle adjustment, make sure that oil pump is adjustedThe oil injection pump adjustment must be checked each time carburetor is adjustedRefer to OIL INJECTION SYSTEM 04-06Start engine and allow it to warm then adjust idle speed to specifications by turning idle speed screw clockwise to increase engine speed or counterclockwise to decrease itNOTE: On twin-carburetor models: Turn adjustment screw the same amount to keep carburetors synchronizedRefer to TECHNICAL DATA 10 for the specifications
