Check throttle slide position at wide open throttleThrottle slide must be flush or mm (.040 in) lower than carburetor outlet boreAt that same position, check that throttle slide does not contact carburetor coverTurn cable adjuster and recheck synchronization;
WARNING
This gap is very importantIf the throttle slide rests against the carburetor cover at full throttle opening, this will create too much strain and may damage the throttle cable or other components in throttle mechanism
