Prior to installation, place bearings into an oil container and heat the oil to 75C (167F) for to 10 minThis will expand bearings and ease installationInstall bearings with groove outwardNOTE: Crankshaft end play requires adjustment only when crankshaft andor crankcase is replacedPrior to magneto side bearing installation, determine crankshaft end play and install required shim(s) on crankshaft extensionFor the crankshaft end play adjustment procedure, refer to LEAK TEST AND ENGINE DIMENSION MEASUREMENT 04-04To install new seal nos3 and into crankcase use oil seal pusher (PN 420 977 920)
Using press, install crankshaft into MAG side crankcase half
