Clean crankshaft extension (taper) and apply Loctite 242 (blue) on taper, then position Woodruff key, flywheel and lock washer on crankshaftClean nut threads and apply Loctite 242 (blue) then tighten nut 125 Nm (92 lbfft) for 454, 494 and 670 enginesTighten nut to 105 Nm (77 lbfft) for 583 engineAt reassembly coat all electric connections with silicone dielectric grease (PN 413 7017 00) to prevent corrosion or moisture penetration
