N ever use lubricants (e.gsoap, only grease, etc to install the handlebar grip, use mix of soap and aterMix 40 parts of ater with rt is (r ended: Ultra Joy, Sunlight or Palm olive)Heat the grip with heater gun or spot light to ease installationInsert new grip with rubber mallet
The ball joint should be restrained when tightening the tie rod end lock nutAlign it so the tie rod end is parallel to the steering arm when assembled on the vehicle, refer to the following illustrationFor proper torque specifications refer to the specific exploded view for the vehicle being serviced1 2
