VOLTAGE REGULATOR INSPECTION
A faulty voltage regulator is often responsible for frequent burned bulbs
WARNING
TESTIN PRO CED URE
The regulator ground must be checked to ensure the circuit is completeIf necessary, connect good ground wire from the regulator to the engine
Ensure the track is free of particles hich might be thro out hile track is rotatingKeep hands, tools, feet and clothing clear of trackE nsure o-o is sta din in close proximity to the vehicleSlowly open the throttle and accelerate the engine to increase the RPMIf the meter reads over 15 volts, the regulator is defective and must be replaced
