3Crank engine and observe indicatorN TE: If engine starts, allow it to idle while observing indicatorThen, shut engine off4Push reset button and repeat step twice

1Disconnect connector at ignition coilAt assembly, secure with new locking ties2Connect an ignition coil (known as being in good condition) to the spark plug(s)3Connect CDI module to replacement ignition coil4Slip plastic protector out of coil terminal5Connect tester wires to coil terminals then set switch and dial as follows: TE: If necessary use jumper wires from coil terminals to tester wiresTester wires Component wires WHITEBLUE wire (+) of ignition coil BLACK wire (-) of ignition coil Tester switch position Tester dial position
