COMPONENT REMOVAL
Most engine components can be removed with engine on vehicle such as: cylinder head piston(s) cylinder(s) rewind starter oil pump water pump magneto flywheel rave valve(s)
Place clean cloth or rubber pad (PN 529 0234 00) over crankcase to prevent circlips no14 from falling into crankcaseThen with pointed tool inserted in piston notch, remove circlips from piston no12Insert piston pin puller (PN 529 0210 00) then install expansion sleeve over puller rod
CLEANING
Discard all gaskets and O-ringsClean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleanerScrape off carbon formation from cylinder exhaust port cylinder head and piston dome using wooden spatulaNOTE: The letters ''AUS'' (over an arrow on the piston dome) must be visible after cleaningClean the piston ring groove with groove cleaner tool or with piece of broken ring.A21C06A
