INSPECTION
7, Brake Pad Thickness
Brake pads must be replaced when fixed pad projects only mm (132 in) from caliperCAUTIONBrake pads must always be replaced in pairs
7, Fixed Brake Pad
Tundra II LT Torque screw no3 to Nm (35 lbfin)Bend locking tab no4 over flat of screw head-
1,6,11,12, Locking Tab, Inner, Outer Caliper and Nut
Tundra II LT Assemble both caliper halvesInsert bolts no9, locking tab no20, then nutsTorque nuts to 24 Nm (18 lbfft)Caliper half side slots must align to allow proper sliding in brake supportBend locking tab over flat of each nutInstall rubber slider no12 lubricated with shortening (cooking fat) into side slots of caliperIt must be installed so that the raised edge is upward and on the same side of nuts as shown1
