Loosen the jam nuts locking the tie rod in placeTurn tie rod manually until alignment is correctTorque jam nuts as specified in the applicable illustrationIMPORTANT: Close front of skis manually to take all slack from steering mechanismNOTErubber band can be hooked in front of skis to keep them closedNOTETo make sure skis are in straight-ahead position, place straight edge against pre-adjusted track and measure distance between front and rear of skis and straight edgeDistances should be equalAfter ski toe-out adjustment, distance at front of ski must be 3.3 mm (18 in) more than at rear on both sides for total toe-out of 6.6 mm (14 in)
