Section 05 TRANSMISSION Sub-Section 05 (BRAKE)
Turn collar in direction of countershaft rotation until collar and inner race lock togetherInsert punch into collar hole and strike sharply in the same direction to lock firmlyApply medium strength threadlocker (PN 4137030 00) on set screw threads, then tightenClose chaincase referring to CHAINCASE 05-061,11,12, Locking Tab, Outer Caliper and Nut S-Series Install caliper retaining boltsAssemble outer caliperInstall locking tab then nutsTorque nuts to 24 Nom (18 Ibfoft)Bend locking tab over flat of each nut
Brake Light
All Models Except Tundra II LT Brake light should light up before brake pads touch brake discTo adjust, unscrew nut no10 until brake light goes onWARNINGAt least one full thread must ex+ ceed the elastic stop nutCheck brake adjustment as described aboveNOTEIf brake light adjustment is unattainable while respecting brake adjustment, ratchet wheel may be too far outIf so, tighten ratchet wheel
