Section 05 TRANSMISSION Sub-Section 03 (DRIVEN PULLEY)
12, Fixed Half Shaft
Thoroughly clean the fixed half shaftRemove rust with no320 grit sand paperApply light film of antiseize lubricant (PN 4137010 00) on the shaftAlways wipe off surplusNOTEActivate the sliding half several times to distribute lubricant over full length of shaftBe careful that lubricant does not get on inner halves of pulley
NOTEIf chaincase screws have been slack-ened, chaincase can be reinstalled to its initial position by securing driven pulley support before tightening chaincase retaining screwsMake sure to install alignment shims as noted at removal
CAUTIONBleed oil injection pump on modv els that injection oil supply line has been removedRefer to INJECTION OIL SYSTEM 04-05
ADJUSTMENT
10,11, Shim
13,14, Brake Disc and Screw
Install brake disc on fixed half and torque screws to 13 N-m (1 15 Ibfin)Assemble driven pulley components by reversing the disassembly procedure
NOTEThe following adjustment must be performed with new drive belt
