CAUTIONThe use of standard multi-purpose grease could result in rewind starter malfunc-

Install locking spring and lubricate with MO LYKOTE Gn paste from Dow Corning or equivalent
5 ,6 ,7Rope Sheave, Starter Rope and Key
To install new ropeinsert rope into sheave orifice and lock it with the'key as illustrated

Install locking ringCAUTIONThis lubricant must NOT be used on rewind springs as it does not stay on when dry
To adjust rope tensionWind rope on sheave and place rope sheave into starter housing making sure that the sheave hub notch engages in the rewind spring hookRotate the sheave counterclockwise until rope end is accessible through starter housing orificePull the rope out of the starter housing and temporarily make knot to hold it
