NO1 ENGINE LUBRICATION
Engine internal parts must be lubricated to protect them from possible rust formation during the storage periodTo perform the storage procedures, proceed as followsStart the engine and allow it to run at idle speed until the engine reaches its operating temperature, WARNINGEnsure the track is free of all parti+ cles which could be thrown out while it is rotatingKeep hands, tools, feet and clothing clear of trackEnsure no one is standing in close proximity to the vehicleStop the engineAll Models Except Mach To prevent fuel from draining, primer button should be pushed all the way inDisconnect the outlet primer hose from the primer valve (straight coupling)
With the engine stopped, remove the spark plug and spray storage oil (P 4960141 00) into each cylinderCrank slowly or revolutions to lubricate cylindersReinstall the spark plugs and the outlet primer hose or air silencersWARNINGThis procedure must only be performed in well ventilated areaDo not run engine during storage period
