To allow easy rotation of the steering, gap of 0.2 mm (.008 in) must be present between top of steering arm and the large washer #46
ASSEMBLY
For assembly, reverse disassembly proceduresHowever, pay attention to the following

Engage screw #48 few threads in top of ski leg shaftFully pull the shaft upwardSlide suspension cap over the shaft while holding the screw to prevent shaft compressionInstall three retaining screws and torque to 10 N.m (89 Ibfin)

After the three retaining screws of the cap have been loosely installed, it can be necessary to install shim (s) between steering support and suspension capIt is important that no deflection of the suspension cap be created when tightening U-clamp nutsInstall the number of shim (s) required to fill the gap between steering support and suspension capTorque three retaining screwsWARNING: Filling the gap with shim is very important to prevent cap deflection and to allow smooth and free operation of the front suspension
