CAUTION: Armature starter yoke ass'y and drive unit assembly must not be immersed in cleaning solventClean brushes and holders with clean cloth soaked in solventBrushes must be dried thoroughly with clean clothBlow brush holders clean using compressed air WARNING: Always wear safety goggles when using compressed air
Remove dirt, oil or grease from commutator using clean cloth soaked in suitable solventDry well using clean, dry clothClean engine starter gear teeth and drive unit (clutch)A003 004 006
NOTE: Bushings must not be cleaned with grease dissolving agents
Immerse all metal components in cleaning solutionDry using clean, dry cloth
