Section 03 TRANSMISSION Sub-section 04 (DRIVEN PULLEY)
NOTE: Driven pulley components (cam, shoes, spring etc) except fixed half can be serviced without removing the whole driven pulley from chaincaseSirnply remove roll pin as explained in disassembly portion
ASSEMBLY
11, Cam slider shoe
When replacing slider shoes, always install new set (3 shoes) to maintain equal pressure on the cam
REMOVAL
Pulley guarddrive belt
7, Fixed half shaft
Thoroughly clean the fixed half shaftApply light film of low-temperature grease (P413 7061 00) on the shaftAlways wipe off surplus

Steering column bolts
Slacken
5, Drive chain
Release tension
NOTE: Activate the sliding half several times to distribute lubricant over full length of shaftBe careful that lubricant does not get on inner halves of pulleyAssemble driven pulley components by reversing disassembly procedure
1,2, Cotter pincastellated nut
Remove from fixed half shaft
INSTALLATION
Install new upper chaincase oil sealReinstall the driven pulley on vehicle by reversing the removal procedure
