Section 03 TRANSMISSION Sub-section 03 (DRIVE PULLEY)
CLEANING
6,10, Innerouter half
Clean pulley faces and shaft with fine steel wool and dry clothClean outer half bushing with clean dry cloth
6,20, Outer halfKahrlon bushing
Use suitable pusher to remove ttle old bushingClean outer half with ethyl alcohol
CAUTION: Bushing must be bonded with Loctite 609 to prevent displacement in outer half
INSPECTION
Drive pulley should be inspected annually
Apply Loctite 609 outside of bushing then insert into its housing from the shown side(So that using housing chamfer)
6,10, Innerouter half
Check outer half for excessive lateral play and inner half shaft for scratches
