- Tighten puller bolt and at same time, tap on bolt head using hammer to release magne10 from its taper
- Install new receptacle connector to the blackyellow striped wire- To install the ground connector to the armature platetape the new black lead to 1he old one and pull it under 1he lighting coil with the old wire- SOlder an eye connector to the lead and fasten it under 1he wire re1aining clip
2, Generating coil
To replace generating coil:Heat the armature plate to 93C (20QoF) around the screw holes to break the loctite bond

To install the new coil on the armature plate, remove the shipping nuts from the new coil and apply Loctite 242 (blue, medium strength) to scr9l.vs before assembly
