CHECKING OPERATION

Connect hose till!?d with injection to mail'l line fitting Insert other hose end in an injection oil containerUsing counter-clockwise rotatif"lg drill rotate pump shaftOil must drip from outer holes while holding lever in fullt open position If not replace pump

Litl rear of veh icle no:1 support with mechanical standUnbolt banjo fittings from pumpStart engine and stop it as soon as it fires
Check that oil level in small oil lines is passed banjo fitting end by about 25 mm (1 in) IthiS will be indicated by clear section of small oil lines of abolJt 25 mm (1 in)!Repeat the procedure until this condition is attainedReconnect banjo fittings with washer on each side, start engine and run at idle while holding the pump lever in tully open positionOil colunms must Cldvance into small oil linesOil celu'Ims 11
