FRAME CLEANING FRAME WELDING
Steel frame:Electric WeldingAmperage: 70-110 Amp- Voltage: 2024 volts
Rod: E-7014 (3132")
NOTE: For aluminum frame use only "Alummum cleaner'and follow instructions on container(Dursol cleaner or equivalentl
Clean frame and track tunnel with appropriate cleaners and rinse with high pressure hoseOn liquid cooled models carefully clean radiators and check condition of radiator protectorsThe protectors should extend far enough to keep the track from rubbing on the radiators
Aluminum frame:
- Rod: ER4043 (3132")
to specialized welding shop)
- Argon-Qxygenacetylen welding CAUTION: When electrical welding is to be per formed anywhere on the vehicle, unplug the multiple connector at the electronic box prior to weldingThis will protect the electronic box against damage caused by flOWing current when welding
