NOTE: Before attempting to compress the shock spring, push the rubber bumper on the piston shaft against the shock body and place the adjuster ring at its

clevis pin through the shock eye and secure hair pin

NOTE: To adjust the track tension and alignment refer to section 05-08
Tighten the bolt until the spring stopper can be rem.oved

After track adjustment, torque rear axle screws 10 48 Nm 135 Ibf.flL Reposition vehicle on ground, Remove chaincase and oil injection reservoir vent hole wires
NOTE: When reinstalling spring, make sure both thrust washers are between the spring and the adjuster ring They are reqUired t.o ease cam twistingApply light coat .of grease between themPlace the adjuster ring at its lawest positionThrus! washers
