Section 05 SUSPENSION Sub-section 04 (SP SUSPENSION)
SHOCK ABSORBER SERVICING
The shocks may be checked by partially creating the operating positionTo do this, secure the proper shock end in vise using the shock eye as clamping point

TCAUTION: Do not clamp directly on shock bodyCompress and extend each shock by 11and at vanous speeds and compare the resistance of one shock to the other
,CAUTION: Always turn left side adjustment cams, in clockwise direction, the right side cams in counterclockwise directionleft and right adjustment cams must always be set at the same position
Rear adjuster cams
The rear adjuster cams should be adjusted to rider preference The rear suspension may be adjusted by turning the shock absorber adluster cam with the adjustment wrench
NOTE: Obtain known good shock tor comparison purposes and keep In mind that the rebound reSIStance (extending the shock) is normally stronger than the compression resistance
