INSTALLATION
Gearbox assembly
Position gasket on frame studs and place lower sprocket in drive chainSecure gearbox to frame-
68, Chaincase oil
Fill gear box with 450 ml (16 Impouncesl of Bombardier chaincase oil
Adjustments
3, Gear change lever
Set the gear change lever to NEUTRAL position,turn dnven pulley clockwise and adjust shifter arm position using the adjuster screw located at the R.Htransmission cover portionThis will ensure the transmission is perfectly adjusted
Set the shifter lever in REVERSE,
Install the shifter rod to Ihe Shifter lever,
Drive axlesseals
CAUTION: Check condition of drive axle seals; replace if necessaryFrom the left side of vehicle, place the drive axle within the trackPush the end bearingside of axle through the orifice in left side of frame, then push the splined end of axle into gearbox lower sprocket Install opposite drive axlePress each end bearing housing into frame and over axle bearingSecure housings to frameInstall sealsNOTE: gap of approximately 1.6 mm (1116") should exist between the end of bearing hOUSing and seal
