The hub plug is pushed by the clutch spring pressureAt disassembly, hold hub plug firmly against outer half until the three (3) bolts are completely removed, This will prevent damage of the outer half threads,

CLEANING

Inside of outer halt should be cleaned with clean cloth The square shaft can be cleaned with fine steel wool and clean cloth,

Apply Loctite 271 on threads and head countersink then torque to 12 N-m (106 lbt.inl
1, Inner halfcrankshaft
Using cleaner such as acetone, clean crankshaft tapered end and the taper inside the fixed half of the drive pulley WARNING: This procedure must be performed in well ventilated area
