At seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lips For bearing lubrication purpose, gap of .0 mm (,040") must be maintained between seals and bearingsWhen installing plain seals (seal without locating ring or without spacing legs)ensure to maintain the specified gap as illustratedFor seals with spacing legs, install them against the bearing

1,3,25, Loctite 242, angular tubes (oil inletoil outlet)cover screws
Apply Loctite 242 on threads prior to assembly angular tubes
23,27 28, Crankcase M8 Screws
Torque the crankcase M8 screws to 20 N.m (l5Ibf.It), Install them as per exploded view
5,19,20, Upper crankcase, Loctite 515lower crankcase
Crankcase halves are factory matched and therefore, are not Interchangeable or available as single halvesPrior 10 joining of ":rankcase halves, apply light coat of Loctite 515 (PIN 413 7027 OO} on mating surfaces
