CLEANING
Discard all gaskets and O-rings
ASSEMBLY
16, Piston
At assembly, place the pistons over the con nacting rods with the letters AUS (over an arrow on the piston darnel facing in direction of the exhaust port
Clean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleanerScrape off carbon formation fram cylinder exhaust port, cylinder head and piston dome using wooden spatula
NOTE: T.he letters AUSII (over and arrow on the piston dome) must be visible after cleaning
Clean the piston ring grooves with groove cleaner tool,
or with piece of broken ringEXHAUST
DISASSEMBLY
16,17,18, Piston, gudgeon pincirclips
Place clean cloth over crankcase then with pointed too inserted in piston notch, remove circlip from pistonDrive the gudgeon pin out of piston using suitable drive

punch and IlammerCAUTION: When tapping gudgeon pin or out of piston, hold piston firmlv in place to eliminate the possibilities of transmitting shock and pressure to the connecting rod
