Position protector tubes over
ASSEMBLY
connections, 1, 7,15,16,17, Armature plate, loctite 242, washers, lock washersscrews
Position the armature plate on the crankcase, aligning the marks on both partsPut drop of loctite 242 on screw threads and tighten, Clean crankshaft extension (taper)
6,7, Loctite 242lighting coil screws
Pnar to assemblyapply loctite 242 (blue, medium strength)
- Fasten retaining clip onto protector tubesThe ground terminal from generating coil must be fastened
