CLEANING
Discard aU gaskets and O-ringsClean all metal components in nonferrous metal cleanerScrape off carbon formation from cylinder exhaust port, cylinder head and piston dome using wooden spatula
ASSEMBLY
16, Piston
At assembly, place the pistons over the connecting rods with the letters AUS (over an arrow on the piston domel facing in direction of the exhaust port
NOTE: The letters' 'AUS" (over an arrow on the piston domel must be visible after cleaningEXHAUST
Clean the piston ring grooves with groove cleaner tool
or with piece of broken ring
DISASSEMBLY
16,17,18Piston, gudgeon pincirclips
Place clean cloth over crankcase then with pointed tool inserted in piston notch, remove circiip from pistonDrive the gudgeon pin out of piston using suitable drive punch and hammerCAUTION: When tapping gudgeon pin in or outof piston, hold piston firmly in place to eliminate the possibilities of transmitting shock and pressure to the connecting rodAOO1002001
NOTE: Spare parts pistons and cylinders are identified with green or red dot, It is important to match the piston with the cylinder of the same color
