sure that crankshaft rotary valve gear is well engaged with rotary valve shaft gearPOSition the crankcase halves together and torque bolts by hand, then install armature plate (tighten) on magneto side to correctly align the crankcase halvesTorque bolts to proper torque following illustrated sequence

At seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lips
