CLEANING
Clean all metal components in non ferrous metal cleaner WARNING: Perform cleaning in well ventilated area
23, Nut (shock absorber)
First install the screw at the bottom of the shock then the upper oneTorque them to 29 N.m (21 Ibf.ftl
INSPECTION
Inspect all ball joints, bushings and moving parts for wear, crushing and play, if excessive replace them
2,5, Rubber damperAllen screw
Apply light coat of petroleum jelly outside of rubber damper to ease its insertion into swing arm and inside to slide onto pivotThis will prevent rubber from sticking and steel from rustingTorque Allen screw to 25 Nm (18 Ibf.ft)Make sure swing arm pivots easily, CAUTION: Do not apply grease or oil on rubber damper
